About the Artist
When she was in kindergarten, Jen's teacher asked her mother to come in for a parent-teacher conference. The teacher had a serious concern: Jen didn't always color inside the lines or use the “correct” colors. She had colored an apple -- gasp! -- in the colors of a rainbow.
Her mom explained that rainbow-colored apples are creative, and that Jen knew that apples weren't technicolor (but she sometimes liked them to be). She encouraged Jen to continue to express herself freely, and that encouragement became the foundation for her playful compositions.
wildLiNE art studio is where Jen creates highly textured collages, paintings, and mixed-media art, full of wild lines and vibrant colors. Her work is a celebration of freedom, movement, and intuition—rejecting perfection in favor of authenticity. With a fearless approach to color and texture, she invites viewers into a world where rules are meant to be broken and creativity runs untamed.
Jen has been told that she looks like Swedish Chef
from the Muppets when she paints.
